  Tried it out- ordered the veal masala and it was amazing! Cooked perfectly. Great flavour and a good portion. Well priced. Excellent craft beers on tap too.

  I've only been once but I guarantee you I'll be back. Friends had pizza and I had pasta. We shared a bit with eachother and all of it was great. Looking forward to going back.

  My husband and I stopped in for supper on Saturday March 26th 2017. First thing we were asked when we walked in was if we had made reservations... we told the hostess no, but she said that was alright (in fact there was lots of empty spots still). Although we were given a spot for 2 people which had a table that wasn't level! It seemed as though the hostess / waitress were really pushing the specials on us. Later when our plates we ordered from the regular menu were awful I thought that they must want you to get something from the specials on their busier nights. Anyway, my husband ordered an appetizer of Risotto Balls which we each shared. They were really good and the rose sauce served with it was perfect. However, they served the plate with hard spaghetti on top to make the plate more appealing I guess which was completely unnecessary and only succeeded in making it harder for us to access the wonderful rose sauce on the plate under the hard spaghetti! My husband's entree was the Lasagna which right away he noticed was burnt a bit and I guess because it was burnt, it tasted a bit "starchy" he said. He was not happy with it. My entree was the Fettuccine Alfredo with the shrimp: the only thing out of it that I liked was the black tiger shrimps; pasta was overcooked; sauce was very bland. The waitress asked me if I wanted pepper added to my Fettuccine dish when she first brought it to the table: but when I order this dish anywhere else I never add pepper to it, find that I don't normally need to, but after I tasted theirs, I was starting to think that I should have taken some pepper / more Parmesan cheese! As of result of these terrible dishes we were served, my husband and I both had leftovers on our plates. Neither of us wanted to take our leftovers home with us and decided we will never go back to this restaurant again. I think that if you go there at a quieter time, it would probably be alright. For instance, we had a late lunch there years ago and it was perfectly fine from what I remember. However, if you have to go at a busier time, probably best to just take one of their specials. However, my husband and I have decided that we will from this point on, just stick with a restaurant that has never disappointed us whether they are busy or not... Roman Bistro.
